Ray5 Safety Features: Dual Protection with Tilt Alarm and Flame Alarm

During laser engraving operations, the safe operation of the equipment directly affects the operator’s personal safety, the integrity of the material being processed, and the stability of the working environment. To comprehensively prevent potential risks, the Ray5 laser engraving machine is equipped with two core safety features: Tilt Alarm and Flame Alarm. When an alarm is triggered, the machine immediately activates a shutdown protection mechanism, forming an all-around safety system to safeguard engraving operations.

1. Tilt Alarm: Prevents Hazards Caused by Machine Tilting

For precise and safe engraving, the laser machine must remain level during operation. The Ray5 laser engraver is equipped with a high-precision tilt sensor that continuously monitors the machine’s inclination.

Safety Threshold: The tilt sensor has a preset safe tilt angle limit.

Automatic Response: If the sensor detects that the machine exceeds this angle, the tilt alarm is immediately triggered.

Protection Mechanism: Upon activation, the system automatically cuts off the laser and stops all motion of the engraving platform, completely preventing any chain accidents caused by the machine continuing to operate while tilted.

2. Flame Alarm: Rapid Response to Fire Risks

During engraving, the focused laser beam generates high temperatures, which may ignite certain materials such as wood, plastic, or leather. If not detected and handled promptly, this can lead to fire, damaging materials, equipment, and potentially endangering the entire production environment.

To address this risk, the Ray5 laser engraver is equipped with a high-sensitivity flame detection device:

Detection: Accurately identifies flame signals within the engraving area.

Automatic Response: When flames are detected, the flame alarm is triggered immediately. The system will instantly shut off the laser and stop laser output, preventing the high temperature from worsening the fire.

Platform Control: Simultaneously, the engraving platform stops moving, ensuring maximum safety.
