If your Ray5 display screen is damaged, unresponsive, or malfunctioning, replacing it can restore full control of the machine and ensure proper operation. Follow the steps below to safely remove the old display and install a new one.
1. Use an M5 hex wrench to loosen the screws securing the control box, then remove the control box.
Ensure the machine is powered off before starting. Carefully remove the control box to access internal components.

2. Use an M2 hex wrench to loosen the screws on the back panel of the control box and open the control box.
Remove the back panel screws and gently open the control box, keeping all screws in a safe place for reassembly.
3. Disconnect the cable from the display’s mainboard.
Carefully unplug the display cable from the mainboard. Avoid pulling on the wires directly to prevent damage.

4. Use an M2.5 hex wrench to loosen the screws on the mainboard and remove the old display screen. Install the new display screen, secure it with the original screws using the M2.5 hex wrench, and reconnect the cable.
Ensure the new screen is properly aligned before tightening. Reconnect the cable securely to ensure stable communication.
5. Close the control box, tighten the back panel screws with an M2 hex wrench, and reinstall the control box onto the machine.
Double-check that all screws are tightened and the control box is securely mounted.
6. Replacement complete.
Power on the machine and verify that the display is working correctly.
Replacing the display screen on your Ray5 10W or 5W helps maintain reliable machine control and a smooth user experience. Proper installation and careful handling of internal components are essential for stable operation.
