Empece con una maquina de 5W, pero rápido me compre una Longer Ray 5 10W, con ella he estado mas de un año haciendo restauraciones de radios antigüas, cajas decorativas, he cortado ropa para costura y pachtwork, etiquetas de cuero, de madera, casitas con DM. Despues de mi experiencia, me he dado cuenta de que yo, hago un 80% de corte y un 20% de grabado. Por ello me he comprado la Longer B1 40W con un kit de prolongacion del eje Y a 850mm. De esta manera tengo mas posibilidades. La máquina es robusta, bien hecha y potente. He rebajado los tiempos de corte y grabado en un 80% con relacion a la Ray 10W. Ademas el entorno de Longer me ofrece cosas que otras marcas tienen mas descuidado. Por ejemplo, tienen un programa multiplataforma (PC, Tablet, Smartphone) que se llama Laserburn y que esta a un nivel muy bueno. Seria de agaradecer que lo hicieran en varios idiomas, entre ellos el Español, ya que es un idioma que hablamos casi mil millones de personas y seria mas fácil para trabajar. Tienen muchos videos de configuracion, de montaje y un buen servicio al cliente ( tuve una duda con la instalacion y me la respondieron en un momento por el chat). Longer, es para mi una marca muy aconsejable. De momento, tambien he actualizado la Ray 10W con un kit de 20W y prolongacion del eje Y a 850mm. Ha mejorado muchisimo. Espero hacer muchos proyectos con las 2 maquinas.

I've been cranking out a lot of product with this machine. I have two small complaints. The camera has quite a few issues and seems to be pretty low quality. And i need to fine tune the belt tention/pulleys as it is not doing perfect circles.

I ordered and paid for the LONGER B1 40W Laser on 2.2.2026. Today is 26.2.2026 and I don't have the laser or the money. Even though I have already sent more than 10 emails to longer, no one talks to me and NO ONE CARES that I didn't fry the laser. The last information I have is from 5.2.2026 from DHL and after that no one communicates anymore. I have already had 4 devices from Longer and I would never have thought that this company would treat its customers so terribly. I ask Longer to send me the laser or refund the amount paid!!!!! I will continue to inform Longer fans about the entire process and approach.

I am new to engraving and my first engraver was the Longer Ray 5 10w. I fell in love with it and then went ahead and upgraded to the B1 40 w. I have been very pleased and it’s a new lesson every day. It’s a very rewarding hobby and I plan on incorporating engraving in my woodworking small business. Longer has been great!

Wish the enclosure would fit the laser with extended frame rails. Don’t see one to buy that will fit it. The instruction could have been a bit more clear for setting everything up from box.

First off let me say Longer and Asta in particular have restored my faith in humanity, I received my unit on 6-20-2024 and put it together on 6-21-2024 well I had a problem with the key switch I do believe it was faulty but I was absolutely worried just because I’ve bought things and been screwed before when something wasn’t what it was supposed to be well thank god I got Asta because without he/she I still wound be pulling my hair out I really hope Longer makes Asta a head up in the technical support area cause the service I got from he/she was just too notch and this is way I only buy Longer and tell everyone I know in our field to do the same thank you again Asta I’m sooooo grateful my email crossed your desk

This is a very sturdy and good looking device. It is fast and very efficient. My limited amount of money was well spent on one of the least expensive high-power laser engravers on the market. No regret and I am now buying more extensions.

My first impression of this product came from the initial installation, everything was packed very well and the components were protected with foam so everything arrived in perfect condition. The first time I used it to etch artwork on wood it didn't go well, the laser worked great and everything was flat and in focus, but for some reason it ended up with quite a few errors and it looked sloppy. After fiddling around a bit and making sure everything was set up and tightened correctly, I tried the same print again and it came out beautifully this time, and I haven't had any issues with subsequent prints since that first print
