LONGER How to：Install the latest 30W Laser Module for Longer Ray5
Longer Ray5 is a laser engraver capable of creating various creations, thanks to the possibility of using various laser modules of different powers. We recently released a new 30w laser module compatible with Longer Ray5, which can be installed very easily.
Always refer to the manual included in the 30w kit for installation, and for a more explanatory guide you can also refer to this article.
To proceed with the installation of the 30w kit, unscrew the belt and the X-axis frame, as shown in the figure.
Now, remove the metal support for the laser module, then proceed with the disassembly.
Install the new metal plate, compatible with the 30w laser module.
Referring to the manual included in the 30w kit, remove the connected cables and proceed to connect the new cables for the 30w laser module.
Once all the cables have been successfully connected, and the assembly of Longer Ray5 has also been carried out, proceed with the flash of the new firmware dedicated to the 30w laser module.
Once this is done, Longer Ray5 30w will be ready for use, and you will be able to create many new projects and creations with much more simplicity and in less time.
